Free Icecream

The Olsons will come, rain or shine, for free ice cream! Preschool had an ice cream truck at school during the last week. We came to school at 11:30 for our treats. I then rushed the kids home for lunch before having to return to drop Nora off for class. That was obviously a huge waste of time. Children don't eat lunch after ice cream!

Outdoor Swimming

It may only be 60 degrees outside, but the pool is open and the Olsons are in it.
We look forward to swimming all summer long and are hopeful for a warmer summer than last year.

Sewing

Inspired by Pinterest, I have been hinting (okay, begging) for a sewing machine.
I have no idea how to sew. But, pattern, fabric, and thread in hand I am working on a dress for Nora.

Ducklings

We saw our first ducklings of the year at Commonwealth Lake Park!
The kids were super excited. I had to hold them back from jumping in the water.

Clare's First Haircut

I put it off for as long as I could, but I finally cut Clare's hair.  I wanted to wait until it was long enough (in the front- the rat tail in the back had plenty of length) so that I could give her a real "do."  I am glad that I waited and was able to to do this, and the results were pretty adorable!

What could be better than hunting for worms on a warm spring morning?
