Pump It Up

We have a punch card to Pump It Up that I use for the most desperate of days. There's nothing like running wild for two hours to ensure that everyone sleeps well that night.

Clare is really enjoying herself.

She loves watching the big ones do something and then trying it for herself. She is going to be a wild one just like them.

THPRD Concert

I drove by the THPRD center and noticed that there was a lot of action. We decided to turn in and find out what was happening: a concert! We didn't stay long because it was time for the kids to go to bed, and they were pretty fussy, but it was a nice diversion while it lasted.

She loved concert. I love the way that babies bounce to dance. She has more rhythm than I do!

I wasn't able to capture a picture of Ronan because he wouldn't stop running/dancing long enough for the camera to find him!

Truck Rally

I took the kids to the Conestoga Truck Rally while Jeff was out of town. We had a great time and saw a ton of friends while we were there.

Nora and Ronan are dancing on a truck bed.

Ronan put a sticker on Clare's head and it stayed there the rest of the day.

Aren't they cute with their hard hats on?

Slip N' Slide

We also snuck in a little slip n' slide on Clare's birthday.
Ronan can give a very detailed explanation about how they work:
First you run, and then you slip, and then you slide. And that is how a slip n' slide works.

She loves getting sprayed by the sprinklers.

Drying off it almost as fun as getting wet.

The slip n' slide was a huge success on the sloping front yard.

Clare's First Birthday

From one birthday to the next.
Clare's birthday is only 5 days after Ronan's. We celebrated it with just our family and Nana.

She loved that we sang to her and I think it was probably from hearing it being sung to Ronan so many times.

Clare loves cupcakes!

I can't believe that I survived a year with three babies. And it was so much more than survival! It was wonderful and exciting. And yeah, challenging, but worth every tear.

Ronan's CA Birthday

We were in CA for Ronan's real birthday and celebrated it with my family. He was so excited to have another party and more presents!

My mom gave Ronan a fire fighter costume.

Ronan had a Costco cake! It was huge and we ate it for days!

My friend, Katie, and her husband, Eddy, were there to celebrate. They seem to always be there for Ronan's birthday!

Pappy

Pappy and his three little grandbabies.

Nana's Pool

I somehow didn't take any pictures of the journey to CA. I mean, I stopped at every McDonald's along the way, spent two days in Sacrament with my college friends....something had to be worth a picture, right?
But alas I pulled the camera out once we were at Nana's house. And we swam and swam and swam.

My little water babies spent 5 hours a day in the pool and begged for more. We had visitors every day and loved every minute of it. This is Clare visiting with Wyatt.

The bucket had a picture with a baby playing with the bucket and a big X through it.

Gotta love the gear.

Canon Ball!

We brought Ronan's water guns along for added fun.

Ronan's Birthday

So, my one and only Ronan turned three. And we planned this wonderful birthday party for him with friends and a pinata and we were so excited. And then my camera died during the party. I can't believe that I don't have pictures to show of his first birthday party, because it was adorable....

Our neighbors, Ken and Joanne, came over. They are like grandparents to the kids. Clare has really warmed up to Joanne and spent a lot of time with her during the party.

Those pigtails could steal the spotlight from the birthday boy.

Ronan got to open presents! He had a great time unwrapping his gifts and even got a little help from his personal assistant, Nora.

We all sang, "Happy Birthday." He really liked being the center of attention more than I thought he would.

Ronan really wanted to have blue cupcakes on his birthday and that's what he got!
