A Modern Day Dad

A baby in one hand and an Iphone in the other. He does it all!

The Snuggle

The first night that Jeff's parents were visiting the kids were a little wild, as you can only imagine. Papa asked Nora for a hug and she refused. He then teased her that by the end of the weekend she would be in his lap. I'm pretty sure that by the end of the hour she was bundled up in a blanket on her Papa's lap!

Grammy and Papa Visit

Jeff's parents came out for a visit. It was wonderful to see Papa two weekends in a row. Now that Nora was feeling better though, it was Ronan's turn to feel sick. We had a great time while they were here and the kids are missing the constant attention, special dates, and bejeweled!

An early morning snuggle. Jeff's parents took the kids to the beach for the day on Friday. Ronan especially loves the beach and I'm sure both kids ran wild on the sand. I was able to have a nice afternoon with Clare.

Just a nice quiet evening.

My Girls

Nora can't keep her hands off Clare. She is constantly trying to pick her up, hold her, kiss her, show her toys.....
It's adorable most of the time.

Papa Visits

Jeff's dad had a business trip in Washington so we convinced him to stay the rest of the weekend with us, even though he was planning to come out the next weekend. We had a great visit, although Nora was pretty sick.
Papa finished up all the work on our new windows. He spent most of Friday staining and painting. It's a job we never would have finished and we are so grateful he was able to do it for us.

Zoo

I know that Nora and Ronan look very happy in these pictures....but this trip to the zoo was so difficult!
On a side note, the birds aren't drinking the juice anymore. Nora and Ronan wait so patiently and follow the birds around, and not a single sip.

Halloween Night

I can't believe how nice the weather was for Halloween. We had a great time trick or treating. We went with our neighbors and visited about ten houses. Nora and Ronan loved being out at night, ringing doorbells, and especially getting candy.
Afterwards to handed out candy from our front yard. The kids loved seeing all the other costumes. Eventually the night ended and we had to turn out our lights early and put the kids to bed.

Ronan was a monkey this year for Halloween. He had a great time trick or treating. He's adorable!

This is the best picture I have of Clare in her costume. She was a banana to match Ronan's monkey costume. I know I'm going to be saying this a lot, but I wish I was taking more pictures of Clare!

Snow White was so excited to go trick or treating. She's already talking about what she is going to be next year. Cinderella or a My Little Pony are at the top of the list.

The monkey!

XMAS Shopping

Nora has already started making a list for Santa. She loves going through the ads in the Sunday paper and circling her favorite toys. She picks out things for Ronan and Clare too. And lets me know if we need more than one of something.
