I was worried that Nora might be a little jealous that her sister was going to have a pink room, but I was totally wrong. Nora loves having the baby room finished. She told me that she's going to crawl into her sister's crib and snuggle with her.
Nora loves to pretend to be a newborn and so she loves to be in the crib.
Nora and her teacher, Miss Heather. Miss Heather will be the teacher for the Two year olds and Ronan will have her as his teacher in a couple of years.

Nora and Ronan are looking at ducks through the bridge.
They also followed some ducks to the water. They both did a really good job giving the ducks some distance so they wouldn't scare them. I hate when I see kids chasing ducks.
Ronan is trying to keep up with Nora. He loves to say "Run" while running. He also loves to take breaks and I have to say, "Ready, Set, Go!" to get him moving again.

This is a pretty typical hug at our house. Trying to share some love, but really it's a choke hold.
Nora pretty much refuses to smile for pictures. It makes me crazy, because she wants me to take pictures, but she makes this horrible faces. Ugh.
This is one of the few times that Nora copied something that Ronan was doing. He was at the other wheel trying to drive the "ship."
Ronan loves putting in the token. He works so hard to line it up right and then grabs hold for the ride. He loves riding anything that looks like a truck or a tractor.
This is one of the biggest rides. Ronan was so excited to go in it, but while the ride was going he looked so freaked out. Not scared enough to cry or get off, but not confident enough to actually enjoy any moment of it.
The kids loved sitting on the mound of sand in the drive way. They also loved when Jeff would dump the sand into the sand box.
We actually ordered less sand than was suggested and still have a ton of left over sand.
The characters in the parade are pretty crazy. These were hammer heads from McMenamins. There were a few alien bands. Nora really loved the girl aliens, especially the purple ones. 
We got there pretty late so we didn't have good seats. The kids sat on our shoulders so they could see all the action. Nora even got to sit on Carolyn's shoulders!

Anytime we get the chance for a family picture we take it. They pretty much always turn out horrible....but that's the reality of our lives.
This is Nora and Ronan wearing their helmets before we left for the parade. They were actually really excited to make and wear them, but they look miserable in this picture.

I would stand at the spout and turn the water high and low. They would laugh so hard every time it changed! Ronan was really brave and would chase after the water, while Nora would try to keep from getting wet.
Nora loves to drink the water. It grosses me out, but I don't think there's anything I could do to stop her.
Ronan had a great time playing with Charlie. It's so fun to watch Ronan make and play with friends. So much of his time is spent with Nora that I don't usually get to watch him play on his own with another boy his own age. Ronan and Charlie were laughing and jumping up and down. They were soooo cute together.
Nora loves to swing. She actually starting to pump on her own. My goal is to get her pumping before the new baby arrives so she can swing independently.

We've learned that if we ask Ronan if we can see his eyes, he'll give us a great smile. He's such a cutie.
And you can never take a picture of Ronan without having to also take one of Nora.
Nora has been practicing riding her bike in our driveway. I created a chalk path for her to ride. Both of the kids also loved running along the path from start to finish. Nora was disappointed when it rained and her path was gone, but it was easy to convince her that it was actually a good thing because we could make a new, better, path the next time we played.
Ronan hasn't really learned how to pedal on his bike. He loves to have one though and will try to push it around, but usually becomes frustrated because it's hard to steer while pushing.
We love making a craft if the Discovery Lab is open. Ronan and Nora made umbrellas. It's so cute to watch Ronan focus while he's working on a project. He really likes to imitate Nora even though he really has no idea what he's doing. He was also so proud of his umbrella that he made. He carried it around and told everyone that he had an "umbrella."
Nora has been "learning" about dinosaurs lately. She recently watched "The Land Before Time." She loves playing with dinosaurs and we checked out the dinosaur kit from the library so we've also been reading lots of dinosaur books. Nora's dinosaurs are always babies and she's so nurturing to them. I have a feeling that when Ronan goes through this phase in a couple of years that his dinosaurs will be battling!

Coco spent a lot of time reading to Nora and watching YouTube videos. They watched one about water dragons and decided to name the new baby after one of them. I'm glad I have veto power because I'm not naming the baby Serendipity.
The kids loved snuggling with Coco. It was so nice to have a chance to visit with her and to have her help around the house. Hopefully we'll see her again soon.
