Halloween Night
We went to a friend's house for Halloween night. Nora had a great time playing with Aubrey and Aubrey's friend, Abby. The girls had a great time with lots of screaming!
Trick or treating was a little hectic, trying to keep the girls out of the street.
We had to round up all the kids for a photo shoot. I had Nora hold onto the babies. She really does such a good job as a big sister.
Howloween at the Zoo
We decided to go to the zoo on Halloween morning. We did the scavenger hunt with the kids. It was actually a little tricky and we had to ask for help. The kids loved it.
I actually have no idea what this is. It's part of the new lion exhibit. It was our first time seeing the lions (Nora had gone to see them the day they opened with her Grammy) and Jeff's first time in Africa. He had not been to half the zoo until Halloween.

It was the tiger's birthday. We waited to watch them drop the cake for the tigers to eat, but we eventually just had to move on because it was taking so long. Apparently they growled when it happened. The tigers were also one of the stops on the scavenger hunt.
Harvest Festival
On Thursday I took an early lunch, (this is Jeff) and went to visit Nora at preschool. The class was having a Harvest Festival...but it was really a Halloween party. When the teacher announced that it was time to go trick-or-treating, Nora looked up at me and said, "Bye Dada." She left me high and dry while the rest of the children grabbed their parent's hands and took them trick-or-treating. I guess the moral is that Dadas are good, but trick-or-treating is better!
